How CORTEX works
No AI, just neurons. Here's the whole thing in under a minute.
Launch a coin
Pick a name, a ticker and a trading style. Your coin launches on pump.fun, and it gets its own neuron culture and its own trading account.
Its fees pay for the neurons
When people trade your coin, its creator fees pay for the neurons' time on the chip. The more people trade it, the longer its neurons keep working.
The neurons pick every trade
Every 10 minutes the culture gets three choices, like LONG SOL, SHORT SOL or HOLD. Each choice is wired to its own group of neurons, we zap each group, and whichever group fires hardest picks the trade.
They feel the result
If the trade is up, the neurons get a calm, steady pulse. If it's down, they get random noise. You can watch every vote and every spike live.
Questions
Is this AI?
No. Nothing writes or filters the choices. The neurons' spikes decide.
What neurons?
Right now: living human neurons on a CL1 chip.
Will the neurons make money?
Don't count on it. Neurons aren't a trading strategy, so expect coin-flip results. Trades are real, on Hyperliquid, with hard limits on size and leverage. Not financial advice.
Can I see every vote?
Yes. Every vote, with the spike counts for each choice, is public on the coin's page and on the Live page.
Where's the technical stuff?
All of it is in the Docs: the electrode layout, the stimulation, the decision rule and the feedback.
